This morning, depart Windhoek with your guide and journey southwest through the picturesque Khomas Hochland highlands. Descend the dramatic escarpment into the iconic Namib Desert, taking in the ever-changing landscapes along the way. Enjoy a scenic picnic lunch en route, thoughtfully prepared at a beautiful spot.
Arrive at our lodge in the late afternoon, your base for the next two nights as you explore the remarkable sights of the Namib Desert. This afternoon you will join the sundowner drive with the lodge.

Rise early this morning for a magical excursion to Sossusvlei at dawn, when the first light casts dramatic shadows across the towering, shifting sand dunes — some of the highest in the world. Accompanied by your guide, you'll also take a short walk to the striking white clay pan of Deadvlei, famous for its ancient, sculptural camelthorn trees. This remarkable landscape offers endless photographic opportunities and unforgettable vistas.
Sossusvlei is located in the scenic Namib-Naukluft National Park. This iconic landscape is made up of white plains and red dunes which tower majestically against a deep blue sky and are among the highest in the world, rising to almost 400 metres. They come alive in the morning and evening light and draw photography enthusiasts from around the globe. It is home to a variety of desert wildlife including oryx, springbok, ostrich and a variety of reptiles.
We will stop at the famous Dune 45, a beautiful star dune which reaches over 170 metres in height. Those who feel fit enough to climb the dune will be rewarded with breathtaking views of the surrounding Namibian desert.
Dead Vlei is a white clay pan which lies between towering orange dunes and is dotted with the skeletal remains of hundreds of dead camelthorn trees, making it a striking vista and photographer's dream.
As the day cools down we will enjoy a short excursion to Sesriem Canyon before heading back.

After breakfast, set out with your guide on a breathtaking drive northwest through the Namib Naukluft National Park. Along the way, marvel at the dramatic Gaub and Kuiseb canyons before reaching the Atlantic coast at the port town of Walvis Bay. Here, you'll visit the lagoon, a haven for birdlife, where you can observe an impressive array of pelicans, flamingos, and other sea birds.
Continue north to the charming coastal town of Swakopmund, where the cooler climate and fresh ocean breezes await. Your accommodation for the next two nights is the Strand Hotel, beautifully situated right on the water's edge.
This afternoon, you'll have time to explore Swakopmund at your leisure – stroll through the quaint town center or along the scenic waterfront. In the evening, enjoy dinner at the renowned Tug Restaurant by the jetty, celebrated for its fresh seafood and vibrant atmosphere.

For those seeking adventure, a variety of optional activities can be arranged - from boat tours with oysters and champagne, scenic flights and microlight trips over the desert, to fishing excursions (either from the beach or by boat), guided desert tours, quad-biking, sandboarding, and even skydiving.

After breakfast, depart Swakopmund and journey inland into the rugged beauty of Damaraland in northwestern Namibia. Along the way, you'll pass the imposing Brandberg Massif - Namibia's highest mountain, rising over 2,600 meters - before continuing towards the Twyfelfontein area.
Damaraland is renowned for its dramatic geology: striking displays of color, flat-topped mountains, fascinating rock formations, and unique, otherworldly vegetation. Shaped by millions of years of wind and water erosion, this region offers some of the most breathtaking and varied scenery of your safari.
If time permits this afternoon, your guide will introduce you to some of the area's highlights, including the ancient Twyfelfontein rock engravings (a UNESCO World Heritage Site), the intriguing Burnt Mountain, and the remarkable Organ Pipes. Should time be limited, these visits can be arranged for the following day. Return to your lodge in time for a relaxing sunset walk to soak in the tranquil surroundings.

This morning, set out with your guide on a scenic drive in search of the elusive desert-adapted elephants that roam the Damaraland region. This guided excursion offers a unique opportunity to witness these remarkable animals in their dramatic natural habitat.

Today, your journey continues northeast towards the legendary Etosha National Park, passing through the rural farming towns of Khorixas and Outjo. Just south of Etosha, you'll enter the renowned Ongava Game Reserve, a private sanctuary teeming with wildlife.
As you drive through Ongava towards your accommodation at Ongava Tented Camp, keep an eye out for the reserve's diverse animal inhabitants. If time permits, your guide will take you on your first exhilarating game drive in the Ongava Reserve, offering an excellent introduction to the region's wildlife.

Today promises an unforgettable wildlife experience as you spend the entire day exploring Etosha National Park. Entering through the Andersson Gate in the south, you'll traverse the park's diverse landscapes, passing renowned rest camps such as Okaukuejo, Halali, and Namutoni.
Along the way, you'll stop at selected waterholes – chosen by your guide for their excellent wildlife viewing opportunities – where animals gather to drink and interact. With a bit of luck, you may spot elephants, lions, rhinos, giraffes, and a variety of antelope and bird species.
As the day draws to a close, you'll exit the park at the eastern Von Lindquist Gate before sunset and continue to Onguma Bush Camp, where you can unwind and reflect on the day's sightings before enjoying a delicious dinner.

The Onguma Nature Reserve features over 35000 hectares of protected land scattered with a variety of wildlife including plains game, black rhino, kudu, giraffe, zebra, lion, cheetah, leopard and more than 300 bird species. It borders the Fisher's Pan wetland area where seasonal rains attract thousands of migrating birds.
Dinner is served in the dining area overlooking a large waterhole. Here you will be treated to an excellent combination of European and traditional African cuisine while watching the game coming to drink. The water-level Onkolo hide provides hours of game viewing opportunities for guests.

After breakfast, re-enter Etosha National Park for another rewarding morning of game viewing. Spanning an impressive 22,300 km2 (8,610 square miles), Etosha is Namibia's premier wildlife conservation area. The park's vast grassy plains encircle a shimmering salt pan, which transforms into a temporary lake after heavy rains, attracting thousands of pink flamingos.
Etosha is home to an extraordinary diversity of wildlife, including the Big Five. Keep an eye out for giraffes, large herds of elephant, and rarities such as the black-faced impala, Hartmann's mountain zebra, and the diminutive Damara dik-dik – the smallest antelope in the world. Predators here range from lions to elusive black-backed jackals. The park's numerous waterholes are magnets for wildlife, providing exceptional and often dramatic game viewing opportunities.
Return to Onguma Bush Camp for lunch and a bit of relaxation. In the afternoon, set out on a guided sunset game drive within the Onguma Private Nature Reserve, where you'll have another chance to spot wildlife and soak in the beauty of the African bush as the day comes to a close.

The name Okonjima is derived from the Herero language, meaning “place of the baboons”. This remarkable area is renowned as a sanctuary for Namibia's wildcats and is home to the world's largest free-ranging population of cheetah. The Okonjima Nature Reserve was established as a refuge for rehabilitated predators and now provides a safe haven for cheetah, leopard, spotted hyena, African wild dog, and several antelope species.
This afternoon, embark on your first guided excursion – perhaps tracking cheetah or leopard on foot, or enjoying the prolific birdlife of the reserve. After dinner, join a night drive to experience the nocturnal world of Okonjima's predators and marvel at the dazzling Namibian night sky.

Enjoy a leisurely breakfast at Okonjima before departing for Windhoek in the late morning. Your scenic drive will take you through the town of Okahandja, where you'll have the opportunity to visit the renowned craft market – an excellent place to pick up unique Namibian souvenirs and handicrafts.
Upon arrival in Windhoek, you will be transferred either to Windhoek International Airport for your onward flight or to your accommodation in the city (booked on your own account).
