Your route spans Namibia's top highlights: from Okonjima and Etosha's game plains, through the rugged valleys of Damaraland, the coast of Swakopmund, the towering dunes of Sossusvlei, and the surreal landscapes of the southern Quiver Tree Forest.
Itinerary Day by Day
Day 1: Okonjima Nature Reserve (1 Night)
Collect your fully equipped 4x4 vehicle in Windhoek and begin your self-drive adventure north.
Settle into Okonjima Campsite and set up your rooftop tent.
Overnight: Okonjima Campsite
Days 2 & 3: Etosha National Park – Tamboti Campsite (2 Nights)
Continue north to Etosha National Park.
Explore Etosha's iconic waterholes and enjoy self-drive game viewing at your own pace.
Overnight: Tamboti Campsite
Day 4: Etosha National Park – Okaukuejo (1 Night)
Continue exploring Etosha National Park.
Enjoy an evening visit to the famous Okaukuejo waterhole.

Day 5: Damaraland – Palmwag (1 Night)
Depart Etosha and travel towards the rugged landscapes of Damaraland.
Explore the Palmwag area and look out for desert-adapted wildlife.

Day 6: Damaraland – Mowani Area (1 Night)
Continue through Damaraland and visit the remarkable Twyfelfontein Rock Engravings.

Day 7: Spitzkoppe (1 Night)
Travel south towards the spectacular Spitzkoppe mountains.

Days 8 & 9: Swakopmund & Atlantic Coast (2 Nights)

Days 10 & 11: Namib Desert & Sossusvlei (2 Nights)
Travel into the Namib Desert and settle into your campsite.
Enjoy a sunrise drive to Sossusvlei, Deadvlei, and Dune 45.

Days 12: Return to Windhoek & Departure
After breakfast, begin your return journey to Windhoek.
Upon arrival, return your fully equipped 4x4 vehicle and proceed to Hosea Kutako International Airport for your onward flight, bringing your unforgettable self-drive adventure through Namibia to a smooth conclusion.
