Itinerary Day by Day

Day 1: Windhoek → Okonjima Nature Reserve

  • Depart Windhoek and travel north into the peaceful bushveld of the Okonjima Nature Reserve.

  • Enjoy the opportunity to participate in optional big cat tracking experiences or simply relax in the tranquil surroundings.

  • Discover the beauty of Namibia's central highlands as your safari adventure begins.

  • Overnight: Okonjima Plains Camp.


Days 2 & 3: Okonjima → Etosha National Park (East)

  • Continue to the eastern region of Etosha National Park, renowned for its productive waterholes and abundant wildlife.

  • Enjoy the freedom of self-drive game viewing in search of elephants, lions, giraffes, rhinos, and a wide variety of antelope.

  • Experience spectacular wildlife encounters against the dramatic backdrop of the Etosha Pan.

  • Overnight: Mokuti Lodge.


Day 4: Etosha National Park (South)

  • Drive through the heart of Etosha National Park towards the southern region.

  • Spend the day exploring the park's famous waterholes and open plains, offering excellent opportunities to spot Namibia's iconic wildlife.

  • End the day with a relaxing evening overlooking the African bush.

Day 5: Etosha → Palmwag Conservancy

  • Travel west into the remote and breathtaking Palmwag Conservancy.

  • Explore one of Namibia's most pristine wilderness areas, renowned for its dramatic landscapes and desert-adapted wildlife.

  • Keep watch for rare desert-adapted elephants and other unique species roaming this untamed region.

Days 6 & 7: Palmwag → Damaraland

  • Journey south into the rugged landscapes of Damaraland, one of Namibia's most geologically fascinating regions.

  • Visit the UNESCO World Heritage Site of Twyfelfontein and admire its remarkable ancient rock engravings.

Day 8: Damaraland → Erongo Mountains

Days 9 & 10: Erongo Mountains → Swakopmund

  • Travel to the Atlantic coast and the charming seaside town of Swakopmund.

  • Visit the famous Walvis Bay Lagoon to observe flamingos and abundant coastal birdlife.

  • Explore Swakopmund's unique blend of German colonial heritage or enjoy optional activities such as dolphin cruises, desert excursions, or scenic flights.

Days 11 & 12: Swakopmund → Namib Desert

  • Complete your journey in the spectacular Namib Desert, home to some of the world's highest sand dunes.

  • Experience an early morning excursion to Sossusvlei, Deadvlei, and the iconic red dunes as they glow in the changing desert light.

  • Witness unforgettable sunsets across one of the world's oldest and most beautiful deserts.

Day 13: Namib Desert → Windhoek
